This course introduces and provides a broad overview of the field of clinical psychology with a focus on science and practice. Students will be exposed to information regarding the history of science, as well as contemporary clinical psychology. Students will also be introduced to the various clinical assessment and psychotherapeutic strategies used by clinical psychologists in their daily practice. Students will also learn about mental disorders and important mental health issues according to DSM.
